Discount coupon for specific item only?

Is there a way to create a discount coupon for a specific item or category?

Debra, discount coupons & codes are applied to the whole order regardless of the actual items purchased or their quantity, so creating a discount coupon will not discount a specific item only.

 

However, you can create a VIP sale which can be applied to a single product only or any number of selected products from any category of your store. Unlike discount coupon, VIP Sale will discount only the selected items.
